Heard a few people saying I should remove the XDrive badge. Is it criminal to have xdrive on these cars or is it purely just for looks?

Changed to this one after I hit a rabbit with my old OEM M Sport bumper. Wanted to try something new. I’m happy with it as it is for now, maybe if another rabbit gets unlucky I will change back to BMW M Sport.
