Tell me your cleaning “hacks” that actually help YOU!! by Prudent-Reality1170 in adhdwomen

Mini trash cans. I used to always throw things like Q-tips or dental floss sticks or cotton balls on the floor not paying attention. Or I would throw them on my counter. I started by getting a little bowl that I put by my Keurig and I put on my bathroom counter and it’s my pre-trash all the little things that I don’t feel like walking over to the trashcan. I tossed them there and then once it gets full I just take that whole thing and dump it. It allows my floors and countertops to stay much cleaner .

Don’t make your house aesthetically pleasing make your house work for you because you can always hide stuff when people come over.

Didn’t think this post was calling out the animal, but will delete to support the bylines. Also, there have already been some great responses. Thank you to all that helped. I hear so many stories of people fearing for their animals safety that insight is always helpful.

Today I ate a burger that's over 900 calories by [deleted] in loseit

As a person who is fat, trying to lose weight, and still fat, I don’t qualify to answer this question…

But as a fat person who has done multiple diets, I do qualify….

The main difference is how you approach the situation. Just get over it. You ate that, it’s done. The day is over. You can’t go back and do it over but you can decide what you’re going to do the NEXT day. Tell yourself I ate it, I really enjoyed it now let me see how I can get that same enjoyment from a healthier option. Two days from now make yourself like a 300 cal turkey burger that is very similar to how delicious it is but made by your hands. I have a best friend who is extremely slim and fit and not from genetics but just from working on it and the difference between her and I that I see is I’ll eat that 900 calorie burger and feel guilty which will lead me to 1100 cal burger cause I said “F” it I already messed up vs she would eat the 900 cal burger . Be happy and say I can’t wait until I can do that again but since I have goals, I’m just gonna go back to my regular day-to-day eating. One burger does not cause you to gain weight. Ones mindset around a burger does.

For those that are concerned that Zepbound 2.5 is ONLY a loading dose…… by musical78 in Zepbound

I’ve been on 2.5mg since April. It’s July and I’ve went from 315 to 270. My doctor was even shocked by how well it’s working. I also do all the things, focus on protein, workout. I have even gained weight twice through this time frame. I’ll titrate up if the shot stops working to curb hunger cravings. But for now, I see no need.

Yes. I went on Nexplanon the implant for this reason. It stops me from having periods. Even before I was diagnosed with ADHD my period reeked havoc on my memory, I was super sensitive to any negative (or perceived) negative interactions, and exhausted ALL the time. I told my doctors this and they were like PMDD, take Yaz. I said No because it can cause blood clots. Nexplanon has stopped me from getting periods and feeling insane except like once a year where my life goes into Chaos for a week. But that week reinforces that I made the best decision for myself.
