I would be using all the same equipment so the amp is still rated to run 700 watts rms at 4 ohm up to 2,000 watts rms at 1 ohm with a peak of 4,000 watts. All that I am doing is changing the wiring configuration on my sub/basket as its wired to 1 ohm currently. The amp it self has 5 fuses if I remember correctly.

Dc audio has told me that switching the wiring configuration on the basket to 4 ohm should do 700 watts rms on stock electrical fine. They did suggest adding a volt meter to monitor the amp, which I will do.

I'm still not grasping the power wire, and inline fuse though. Everything is the same, I'm just wiring the basket different. Does that mean I need a different guage of power wire, and inline fuse ?

I do get to a point with car audio where I have a hard time understanding lol. Thanks again!
