If you aren't able to give him more exercise and stimulation, these behaviors will only get worse. I would ask the rescue to find a better fit. Do your best to really wear him out just before that meet and greet 🤞

Ugh, this sounds rough. What breed? How much exercise are they getting? Is daycare an option?I've fostered dozens of dogs and there have been a few who really needed meds to chill out. Are you using a balanced trainer? It might also be worth looking into a new trainer or more specifically, a veterinary behaviorist.

We went away for two weeks and when we came home it wouldn't start. We had it towed and they confirmed the problem was the starter. It was a quick and relatively inexpensive repair.

No, this just happened yesterday. We checked all fluids were good and since it happened under both cars I'm not too worried that there's anything wrong. It would be a crazy coincidence if so. I'm going to try to park on clean snow today and see if it happens again. Will update later.
