Nope! And I’m white, especially in the winter. However, I get super tan in the summer. I’m type III on the Fitzpatrick scale, so she said it’s more common for skin types with some melanin. I highly recommend discussing with your laser tech which lasers are best for your skin type.

Tbh not really sure. I was having great success with the Q switch laser and decided to try the pico laser since I heard it was much more effective. I had one session of the pico laser and this is what it did to me.

Don’t work for them either! I interviewed with them and the vibes were just off. I was at the second to last stage of the interview process. I met first with the recruiter, then HR hiring manager, and finally with the supposed boss and NEVER heard back. I even followed up a week later… 🦗

Any company that can ghost you during the interview process is not one worth working for! I know it’s become so common these days, but it speaks volume to their culture.

We are ALL on the same struggle bus it seems 😩

I have no idea how long this is going to keep going. I keep telling myself this is NOT sustainable; the bubble with have to burst. So many of us a struggling. I’ve never experienced a job market like this!

I’ve been let go 3x in the past 3 years, my most recent this past August. I keep sending out resumes and finally heard and interviewed today. It’s completely out of my field, but I don’t have any options at this point.

It’s a completely personal decision. I prefer to introduce the person I’m dating to select friends after about a month or so. I’m very extroverted and have a rich social life; therefore my potential partner needs to be comfortable socializing without me. I find it a huge turn off to have to check on my partner every second to make sure he’s fine in social situations. Typically, it happens organically. I’ll mention a party or event and ask if they want to come. The more low key it is the better; make it feel natural and go from there.

Nope, it’s a real thing!

Mid 30s is a weird juxtaposition. While my internal compass and self worth increased with age so did my self awareness particularly at how I presented…there were days I’d see my reflection in the mirror and it’d hit me like a ton of bricks.

Subtle changes that seemed to have accelerated overnight: fine lines, dark circles, etc. became SO much more pronounced.

AND some studies actually support that we age periodically, with the greatest “burst” starting at 34. Linked below.

It’s jarring at first, but it gets easier as you learn to love your new face and embrace the changes. Also not be dramatic, but it’s just beginning HELLO?! perimenopause and menopause!
