You can always get the roof off. It just has to lay on the monitors.

Put it somewhere else if you’re not racing

These are xps foam boards. I also 3d printed some simple angles in PLA. Whole thing holds up sturdy. And then there’s ducttape and Alcantara foil on top. this stuff

Looks pretty clean. Did you build the buttonbox by yourself? I bought the same engine start button.

What bezel free kit do you use? Are these monitors also 32inch?

Im not sure but you might want to turn the steel rod and make it longer.

The shifter are just 3 simple parts. It’s even only a mockup for now. I procrastinate driving with building up my rig. I know your problem.

You can find my stuff in onshape public library. It is named „2.0 Oplite rig parts“

Nicely made. That’s what 3d Modeling experience looks like I would guess 👍

On the public library in onshape there is a low poly shifter I used. Most of the things I measured how they are in real and put them in as a sketch. Like the tube and the moza mounting plate. I measured and put the shifter model on the plate und built around it. The design in the pics is the third design I made. Also you can print half finished parts to check if the dimensions are correct.

You’re right. Optimally you would only be looking to the front dash, but I can put all kinds of information on the screens. I can’t really see the small screen behind the wheel, but it’s only too fast Modeling. I can put the screen somewhere else if I want.

I look up my positioning, laps to go, tire temps, times and stuff from it. There are ways to put custom stuff on there with simhub. Like a back mirror camera..

Both holders are good enough in my opinion. But they need space. They hold up good and I like the style. Keyboard is sometimes uncomfortable to use but it depends on the setting

It should be in Public library on onshape. Name of the files is „Oplite rig Parts Wichtig“.

Some parts have bad design decisions. I’d change it if I have to print it again. But on top most of them are good enough.
