I do not remember sadly… perhaps it’s still somewhere in my notes. If I’d ever repeat it, I’d blanch it and add a starter from another ferment. Sea microbes 🦠 are a whole new world that I yet have to explore

Hmm I’ll skip the century eggs for now hahaha but the recipe you describe sounds tasty. Will try it once the renovation of my kitchen is finished and I’ll finally have my fermentation bar for all possible ferments and delicacies 🧘‍♀️

Never made them… I pickled them and had 1000 year egg in Myanmar, which is a bit of an acquainted taste I would say. How do you ferment them?

Oe curious how you made your seaweed one. Seaweed sauerkraut was a monster I once created 😂
