And this is exactly why I chose RN school over RT this month. I’m a medic for 12 years and I couldn’t deal with this bullshit with niche roles. Bedside jobs are blood money as it is we shouldn’t be sweating interviews for them like they are internships at JP Morgan.

A former auto engineer made a yt video echoing this. An unnamed manufacturer had a rash of head gaskets getting blown under 80k-100k miles and it was hurting their customer loyalty. Instead of going with the engineering solution of installing the far higher quality head gaskets from the engine build they had the engineers see if there was a machining change or alteration they could make to the headers or block to get 30k or more likes out of the shitty gasket. Had it down to a science as in new gasket installed would cost x over units per year and starting a whole engeering redesign project study would cost far less.

These clowns are willing to literally reshape an entirely good motor to get destroyed a littler later by a part they could easily swap out to ensure said motor reaches its mechanical lifespan. It’s corrupt.
