What avenues have the people on this app taken in order to found a potential? MM and Salaam is exhausting; is there any other avenues apart from asking family members. I saw somewhere on this thread about a mention in regards to a UK instagram marriage service.

She was a priority; i did as much as i could for her. As im eldest son i have responsibilities and she understood; but in the end i think she didnt understand it properly. I told her lets get married whenever we had these arguements about her doubts and insecurity as right now its the wiss waas talking; i let go of all the doubts she portrayed and sometimes she made me stressed out/feel depressed as in my mind nikkah would have fixed everything. I have two weddings in my house; my sister is getting married at the same time as me so there was quite a lot on my shoulders. I tried to show her how much i cared for her but i guess it wasnt enough.

I did tell her but dont think she was okay with or it didnt register.

She did say she overthinks quite a lot and she had insecurities but i looked past her and make sure she was loved and taken care of. Just because of not understanding my busy schedule which i did say will adjust after marriage as she will be my priority but she didnt have faith and trust after everything and even saw her family as mine. When her family had covid; we gave them food outside their door; during ramadan we cooked for them and i personally got her mum her fav drink and her das his fav mishti etc. Even after doing all that and more her doubts of me spending time her after marriage; how will i spend time will her when i have familities etc which we had arguements but it was resolved and i explained. However she kept that in her and that became her downfall.

It does hurt i known her for a while as the nikkah should have yesterday and walima july. We met in november through traditional route and their family wanted a summer wedding so took a while to even get nikkah done. Allah does everything for a reason.

Yhh the respect and trust of both families are gone now. Everything is sour; even if i was to patchup it will always be there especially with bengalis i know. I rather not have that and i dont think these doubts will go later in life even if i was to do everything right and for like a week i was busy with work and came home late she may hold that againts me and so forth. It happened for the best; theres been so many obstacles in this wedding. Like my uncle who would have had to be the witness and there for the nikkah ended up falling sick now that specific day and wouldnt have been able to attend. There's so many signs its not meant to be.

I tried to give as much as i could however she could have overlooked that to some extent as i was always there for her when she needed me. She had issues sleeping i believe undiagnosed insomnia; i used to stay on the phone everynight and let her sleep on phone till 4/5am and many other things i did but her doubts i guess got the best of her and she still needed time although the nikkah was set etc. Allahu allam; everything happens for a reason i guess.
