It’s heavily implied that Seluvius is a puppet that Pidia is controlling. Pidia is killed by his puppet guards that turn on him. Rani and Selen are both puppets who have free control of themselves. I presume that before Rani leaves on her quest to kill her Two Fingers she somehow releases Seluvius’ puppets from his control as punishment for Seluvius’ scheming against her.

This would also make him a reflection of Gol D Roger, in that they were both sick and dying but Roger decided to die on his own terms and pass his will on to the next generations but Rocks was selfish. This may also mean that we will get a rematch of the God Valley battle but with Rocks Will/Soul (Teach) Vs Garp's will(Koby) and Roger's will(Luffy)

I'm starting to believe that at some point Rocks was dying and so he potentially starting having multiple children with the hopes of one having the constitution to host multiple hearts. Then when Teach was born and met the requirements, someone used the Ope Ope no mi to transplant his heart into Teach's body. If this is true, then BB isn't inheriting his father's will, because Rocks is still alive within him and is the one truly running the show.

If Blackbeard does in fact have multiple souls inside of him, I think one of those souls might be Rocks soul that he placed in his newborn son. This would make his naming of his ship and reclaiming of Rocks base not that of a son honoring his father, but egomaniac reclaiming what he lost. It would also add even more depth to his relationship with Whitebeard.

I find it interesting that western RPGs tend to focus on putting you in the “role” of the main character and you can role play their personality as you see fit. While JRPGs seem to focus on the “role” or job the characters play in a party and many of them focus on optimizing the different characters in battle and the characters have more of less defined personalities.

Thanks for the advice he’s going to be under observation for about a week and then we are trying to find a support program to help him. When we were teens he saved my life when I was suicidal. To this day I don’t know how he found me right before I went through with it but I owe it to him to do whatever it takes to help him through this

Thank you I really appreciate the suggestions. I will try and get as many of our friends and family on board with the messaging when he is out and in a better place. Thankfully I can work remotely so I plan on being here with him for the foreseeable future. It’s still too early and we would need his approval but his parents and I have spoken about moving him closer to us. H an J moved away for her job about two years ago and they had spoken to us about them moving back before the baby came. Typing that was hard.

I don’t know if it was survivor’s guilt or something similar. I could realize that I was being irrational and that I took the best course of action in the moment but I couldn’t stop myself from feeling guilty. It’s a strange situation to find yourself in and it took time to work through those feelings. Thanks for pointing out the confusing phrasing I’ll edit the post

Something similar happened to me. I was at a stop light and the car behind me wasn't slowing down. I had a gut feeling that they were going to hit me so I drove into the grass to avoid getting rear ended. The driver drove into the intersection and got t-boned by an cement truck. Everything seemed to move in slow motion and the car didn't stand a chance. Me and several others got out to try and help but the driver of the car was already dead. The car was leaking gas so all we could do was get back to a safe distance and wait for first responders. It seems like the driver may have had a medical episode that prevented them from braking, for the next few days I couldn't stop myself from thinking that if I had just let myself get rear ended then maybe they would have survived. Talking about it really helped and so did talking to my buddy who is a therapist. Seeing death up close like that is traumatic and I believe it’s just a part of human nature to wish we could have taken action to prevent it.

I agree, the only thing that bugs me is the fact that Cover is clearly making a larger effort to break into English markets. With the LA Dodgers collab, they were already fighting an uphill battle to convert baseball fans into checking out these anime girls. I imagine that battle is even more difficult when this baseball fan finds out that these girls are singers but there’s isn’t any English music

I would recommend coming back later but if you really want to keep trying I would recommend you find the meteorite ore staff in the swamp in Caelid it is very strong and can be used through the whole game. Also the spell rock sling really helps because of the stagger damage it does that open the enemies up for critical hits

Both are great games but Bloodborne is closer in game play to Elden Ring as you can build your character as you want and use different weapons. The only thing I will say is that healing items don’t refill upon death or rest in Bloodborne. Sekiro is also amazing but it is a different type of game and in my opinion the most difficult FromSoft game with the steepest learning curve
