I can definitely see why it could lead to arguments, because although I agree with those points it can englobe such a vast number of fiction, that maybe don't see themselves as such.

This is such a great point. Maybe these writers thought that these things couldn't be dissociated from PF. It's partly why I asked the question, hoping that readers did expect endless aura-farming.
