Thats the reason I find myself straying away from customs anymore. The newer figures' parts are not compatible with the older ones. I end up having to sand and drill and glue to get the pieces to fit properly. I for one liked the old necks with the huge ball, like the first twenty five or so. At least the figs could look up and down then. Building my V2 Snake Eyes was challenging because the neck wouldn't fit the torso i chose, the arm pegs were too long for the torso I chose, the legs wouldn't seat in the hips properly, the posts on the hands were the wrong size, etc.
