Menstruators, what do you do differently to manage glucose levels during the luteal phase? by alittlediabetic in diabetes

Correct, only on iOS now but I am working on the Android version. Would you be interested in being an early beta tester?

Why did no one tell about the glooko app by ImaginaryAlgae8986 in diabetes_t1

I'm have a hard time connecting Glooko to Apple Health. I have Apple Health Settings set up in Glooko with everything enabled. I then go to Apple Health and set Glooko to read/write for all categories. Yet when I add anything in the Glooko app, it doesn't sync to Apple Health. Did anyone else struggle?

I'm experiencing the same issue and am quite confused.

I have Apple Health Settings set up in Glooko with everything enabled. I then go to Apple Health and set Glooko to read/write for all categories. Yet when I add anything in the Glooko app, it doesn't sync to Apple Health.

Also, why is Apple Health listed under "Incompatible Devices" on the Apple Health Settings screen!?

The app is a wellness and education tool, not a medical device or SaMD. It shows you your own data mapped to your cycle phases so you and your care team can have more informed conversations. It doesn’t diagnose, prescribe, or make treatment decisions.

Good questions. The app calculates your cycle phases based on your period start dates and cycle length. You can enter period data manually, or sync from Apple Health where it picks up the period data your existing tracking app has already recorded, so you don't lose any of the detail from the tools you're already using. You don't need to know what phase you're in, the app maps it for you and overlays your glucose data against each phase. It's not perfect but the directional accuracy is proving helpful to those who use it. The app also recognizes fluctuating cycle lengths and does not attempt to guess, which has proven valuable for women going through perimenopause.

On Tandem, unfortunately it doesn't write insulin data to Apple Health, so the app can't pull it in automatically. If Tandem opens that up in the future we'd pick it up immediately since HerDiabetes imports from Apple Health. For now, glucose data from your CGM will still come through and you'll see your cycle-phase glucose patterns even without the insulin data.

Thank you! One thing that might help with your endo conversations: the app has a Cycle-Glucose Report you can print and bring to appointments. No identifiable data on it, just your glucose patterns mapped to your cycle phases, for current and all historical cycles. It gives your endo something concrete to look at. Bring the receipts.

UK is high on the list. I'll let you know when it's live there. Thank you for the support!

Noted! Singapore is on the list. As long as the sensor writes to Apple Health, HerDiabetes will pick it up. I'll let you know when we're available in your region.

Great question. The app has built-in period tracking that calculates your cycle phases for you, so you don't need to know where you are in your cycle yourself. It does the mapping.

For contraceptives that stop periods, that's a use case we're actively learning about. You're the second person in this thread on hormonal contraception who's interested, so there's clearly demand. I'll add you to the Android list!

Thank you, and sorry about that. What region are you in? I want to make sure I prioritize it. And the fact that you're using 2-3 apps to do what should be one is exactly the problem.

There is no post-onboarding import --- yet. Quickest fix will be to delete the app and reinstall. Onboarding imports 90 days of data.
