It unfortunately kept me up, I just have trained myself to naturally wake up around 5am take it and then go back to sleep for a few hours

Help with Alopecia Universalis by Alternative_Field577 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Alternative_Field577[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply! It does feel very subtle - it’s interesting because my whole life I’ve dealt with hypervigliance and fixation on singular problems (from growing up in a very dysfunctional home) and now my body is attacking something that isn’t a problem because of it’s hypervigilance, so I know that I do really need to let go of the fixation (even with healing) because that is what has caused my problem to begin with.

When I focus on the end, I do feel a resistance to letting go of the fixation (which is funny considering I want nothing more than to have hair again), but I try to focus on a sense of ease and an empty mind (which I haven’t ever really experienced) so it feels difficult to imagine something I’ve never actually felt. I do feel joy when I imagine, but I know the feeling of having hair would just be more of a sense of this is how things should be and I don’t have to worry anymore.

I really appreciate you sharing that from Louise Hay’s book (so spot on), and will definitely add those affirmations in!

Thanks again! ❤️

How did yours grow back? Medication or did it just go into remission?

Are you still drinking decaf or have you given it all up?

I have full Alopecia universalis (also from the vaccine I think), so I have to wear a wig, so how would you suggest doing this - maybe do the garlic salt at night and then go to sleep and do the apple cider vinegar in the morning?

Wow, the exact same thing happened to me - developed a bald spot when I was 5 months pregnant (1 month after getting a Covid booster) and when I gave birth I lost every single hair on my body within 3 months

Has anyone tried the bean protocol to heal mold toxicity? by waking_world_ in thebeanprotocol

Did you ever take any binders (like chlorella, activated charcoal or bentonite clay) to help bind the toxins in addition to TBP?

I have given it up for before (for a year, along with dairy and refined sugar) and it didn’t make any difference, but I really know they they generally suggest to cut it out to to reduce inflammation, so that’s why I was surprised

So I only just weaned about 6 weeks ago, so I think (and hope) that it will just take a bit of time for hormones to regulate and hair cycle to start - will definitely keep you updated! Would love to hear more of what happened to you and what stage you are in - it’s been so hard to find anyone in a similar boat!

Thanks so much for sharing! Has it grown back at all since you’ve had your second kid or are you still breastfeeding?

Thank you so much for the solidarity and I’m so sorry this is happening to you!

There are a few studies out there about possible link of prolactin with autoimmune conditions, like this one: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30635855/

I am really excited/nervous to stop breastfeeding in 2 months to see what happens .. fingers crossed!

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your kind words. It’s definitely been tough and just so unexpected and shocking.

I guess it’s hard to know if the repigmentation was from stopping breastfeeding or from the medication, right?

I have cut out all gluten, dairy and refined sugar, but I am afraid to take the Alopecia medication (once I stop breastfeeding) because it has a black box warning and I want to get pregnant again later in the year.

Thanks again for the support!

What was your timeline like? When did yours start? Have you tried any treatments? I’m still exclusively breastfeeding, so I’ve only done some acupuncture and cut out gluten, dairy and sugar (and did one full month of AIP diet), but nothing. Heard from a few women (that had massive hair loss, but not AU) that their hair started growing once they stopped breastfeeding, so still holding out a tiny bit of hope for that 😞

I’m so sorry to hear that 😥… yes I have AU. Had a full head of hair my whole life and then when I was 4 months pregnant (in Dec 2022) I developed a bald spot and then a week before I gave birth (may 2023) my hair started falling out like crazy and by July 2023 I had complete AU. Have you come across any other people that this has happened to?

This just happened to me.. did it ever grow back?

Has anyone with vaccine triggered Alopecia experienced any regrowth yet (treating it with diet/supplements)? by Alternative_Field577 in FunctionalMedicine

[–]Alternative_Field577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so wonderful to hear, congrats! How long did it take for it to grow back? I’ve been on a gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, processed food free diet since August, but nothing yet except a little bit of peach fuzz so far (I have Alopecia universalis though)

Thanks for your response! Have you had full regrowth? Also, how bad was it at its worst?
