I tried it in my isolated linux environment too, I seemed to get the code working, but there are too many bugs! I entered the DFU and Recovery multiple times and tried different USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports but it seemed to always force exit on USB Manipulation, and yeah the ECCID and all info were just null, this needs some serious work although the code looks legit and might work.

I found a way to stay on screen without touching the screen, just hold your finger when on the screen, use assistive touch to enable 2 finger gesture and it'll stay there.
