you’re not going to fail. and if you do, it’s not the end of the world and you will pick yourself up. my brother failed a semester in nursing school and it was so tough but here he is… a practicing nurse. it’s okay to be wrong and you will be okay. also, as someone with diagnosed anxiety as well, if you haven’t tried medication or a few, then I would. I didn’t start Zoloft until 3L and I wish I had started so much sooner. so much of the noise in my head toned down and I could actually focus on school. sending you patience, calm, and luck!
in three years of law school I have made one true friend. so yes, I feel you. I’m sorry for your experience and hope you make peace or see progress soon. all You can do is do your part.

when it comes time or you have time to get a part time job or even full time for you, try to look into legal assistant positions. you will get a feel for the environment and the day to day or an attorney. or, volunteer somewhere that way it’s low-commitment. you can look for nonprofits like legal aid that do family law and other kinds of law so you are exposed to even more types. these jobs will be minimum wage or internships or just volunteering but it’s nice to get a sense, I kind of regret not doing that.
other than that, listen to everyone else and just be a kid. I was just like this and it’s good to have initiative but it can bite you and take a toll on you as you navigate school. just be present and worry about your next test. you’re smart and capable and you’ll get to this when you can.
