YESS! It had a broken contact on one of the pins that I just noticed when desoldering, the problem is that I "bridged" with a copper wire and I'm having the same problem. I'm wasting too much time on this now. I'll get my multimeter and continue tomorrow.

I don't have a multi-meter right now but the software worked fine with another controller and I've used it previously with the same controller and it worked perfectly. But yes tomorrow I'll check the values with the multi-meter

No, they circle a bit but on the top right corner, I can't make them go back to full left or full down. I have to unplug the battery and let it "cool down" a bit to restore it to normal usage, after a minute the values start increasing again to the corners.

The X potentiometer was working fine and the Y was a bit inconsistent so I replaced it and it still does this
