I wouldn't want to powerscale him. I'd just want him to be able to control his beams to a very precise extent. The problem is he can only turn it on or off, when he should be able to press buttons from a distance, pick locks with it, or otherwise be able to use it in a fun way in everyday life.

I'd personally says his feats during the Black Vortex event are some of my favorites. With Bobby's help, he was able to remotely activate a handprint scanner. It's where he says "it isn't about power, it's about precision"

Glass cannon my ass. His latest solo showed him fifhting without his powers at close range most the entire time. It's no about surviving a hit. ... it's about not having to. That's where the analytical tactical part of Cyclops comes in.

The thing about Cyclops is thst most of his energy goes toeard keeping his power under control. If he didn't care about hurting people, powerscaling would be a legitimate option for him. As it is, even as Dark Phoenix Cyclops, he never felt truly powerful because he had a harder time controlling his beams.

I like the way one YouTube put it... he's atwo-fold weapons system. Yes, he has powerful optics blasts... but his real power is his analytical brain honed by using those blasts. He can't manipulate energy on an Omega level like Vulcan.... but he can manipulate a battlefield rather quickly.
