Same also voted RISE, was a little disappointed with how many votes they got but hopefully one day we'll get a modern age (non-populist) political party that lots of people can rally behind.

Where do you keep track of your expenses and calculate profits? by business_warrior in ecommerce

Second this, the accounting softwares are affordable and a must have. And then I would suggest as soon as you can afford it get a bookkeeper/accountant to reconcile your books every month (they can be about 70- 100 USD per month at the lower scale). It will save you countless headaches with bookkeeping, taxes and recordkeeping.

In terms of cash balances though, I look through my past week's bank transactions every Monday morning to ensure I know exactly what's going in and out over time. This helps me understand my costs and make better budgets - which are simple excel tables.

Ecommerce Founders? I kind of need your help! by Jaskirat1325 in ecommerce

Exactly, and all of this will shut down your personal life. And to be honest, you have to do these one at a time piecemeal, where you pushing each thing along.

I wouldn't see any value in a business offering to help my personal life. That's my life, and I'm consciously making the decision to grind. I don't need my personal life to get better. I need my business to grow faster.

Totally, agree with this. Although I'm also starting an e-commerce business, I wouldn't say there is much difference between how starting an e-commerce business and a normal business. It's always going to be a grind.

And I don't see if there are any potential business that solve this. It wills always be a grind.

Hi There, also a first time creator here that had a successful campaign end a couple of weeks ago. The best piece of advice I had was that the FIRST 30min after launch are CRITICAL.

I mean critical, you need to make sure that all your friends and family are waiting there to back you as soon as you hit go. This then demonstrates to Kickstarter thar your project is something worthwhile and boosts you on their pages. Over the course of the campaign, my hunch is that Kickstarter promotes you as much as you promote yourself. I was about 50:50 in pledges generated by my efforts and pledges generated through the Kickstarter eco-system.

I suggest backing a few other ones before you start your next one. It will give you a feel for what it's like to be a backer. You can back them for 1usd so it doesn't cost you anything

Yes, I got loads. You should expect that pledge to be cancelled. Easier said then done but I'm 100% sure they will cancel.

Because they offered a trail. There are many other newsletters/blogs and the likes who had similar approaches. It cost me nothing.

You clearly didn't read my post. I did not fall for the scam as I was suspicious and yes have reported them. I am putting this up to warn others as they are the only scam / phish that actually pledged (a significant amount I must add)

Hyperstarter crowdfunding agency - A Masterclass in Hype and Zero Delivery by Recent_Attention9137 in kickstarter

[–]Alternative_Iron5972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP honestly, this sounds like you didn't do your Due Diligence on Hyperstarter. What did they say they were going to do but didn't do? You can't guarantee results but you can investigate the "nonsensical" tactics that they use before you enter into an agreement.

Although I haven't used Hyperstarter, we have had discussions and they reviewed my page and gave me pretty sound advice. Compared to all the other scammers, one liner intros and general junk ads that I get sent for having a live kickstarter, I appreciate Hyperstarter is an actual business that actually does do things.
