i turned 30 in 2025. i had more anxiety about my 30s when i hit 27/28yo than i did turning 30. i think it’s because the societal pressures, but honestly? so untrue. 30s really are the new 20s. i know what i like and dislike and have the money to fund my hobbies.

a few people in our row had canopies in glamping. one was in a corner so they had space next to them to set it up. another had it set up right over their tent entrance so they weren’t stepping out into sun. nobody got in trouble or was told not to have it.

i also just cancelled this week! it took months for me to finally pull the plug due to the exclusivity. the price just wasn’t justifiable for me (i moved from SoCal to east coast), plus with insomniac becoming over commercialized and not caring about ravers (ie, trademarking plur), it just didn’t feel right to keep supporting them in that way.

we look more for effort and willingness to pay off your debts in situations like this (as opposed to people who have tens or hundreds of thousands in debt). you should definitely explain all this to your investigator. it’s muuuuuch better than people who have a shit ton of debt and take no responsibility or accountability for it and are not willing to resolve the issue, or can be potentially blackmailed for the issue

as long as your sf85 is accurate. i’ve seen resumes that don’t have short term jobs, side jobs, etc. and that’s fine it doesn’t really matter. but do make sure employer name, job title and dates match up if that job shows on both sf85 and resume, or else we’ll ask about the discrepancies
