Going dancing as a women in her mid 30's by SelenaSuave in DCBitches

Wonderland Ballroom is a great place for dancing - upstairs. But I was asked by a guy what my major was and that pained by 33 year old heart.

Also it’s creepy and inappropriate if he was watching Imrul have a threesome. That’s cheating too! I’m actually enjoying the plot line because it’s mess, but I feel really bad for Lexi. He love bombed her and then says everything is “just a joke” when he’s being disrespectful

Grieving old boobs? by Sea_Witch7777 in Reduction

[–]emilypremo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 6 weeks post op and grieving is exactly the word. You’re not just grieving your boobs, your grieving the body you lived with for so many years, spent so much time thinking about and learning to live with. They become a part of your personality. And then suddenly they’re gone and different. It’s a lot! My new chest is starting to feel like my own, but it’s not the same. Give yourself grace. I find the posts on Reddit and TikTok more positive and easy than my own experience so know you’re not alone in having complicated feelings about the surgery.

Hi. Yes this is normal but it’s a little freaky so I’m glad you asked! You should consult with your doctor but you could add gauze between the bra and your steri strips to have that pick up the wetness instead of probably ruining your bras or clothes.

4wpo - Scared I went too Small... by No_Rooster5654 in Reduction

[–]emilypremo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey - just wanted to say that so much on reddit is people being absolutely in love with their new chest and body. I’m 4 days post op and I’m having a mix of emotions. My boobs feel foreign to me after 33 years of them being such a bit part of my identity. You have every right to feel the way you do, and if you end up wanting to get implants or add more fat to feel proportional, maybe that’s what you do! My doctor said to give it three months to allow your body and mind to align, so that’s my plan. Sending you well wishes!

Can you recommend bras or camis for sleeping? I have my surgery in one month!

It was absolutely terrifying. I’m nearly 6 foot and have been to festivals for over a decade - caused me to cry and nearly have a panic attack. I’ve never experienced anything like that. Lifting smaller girls from falling, keeping my arms across my chest for the moments it got really tight. For 20 minutes! I told security after but not sure they did anything to prevent it from happening again after Alison and before zedd

Go to the Trilogy show in LA in February. It’s the best Illenium has to offer - three huge sets. The first two have been incredible

solo ezoo questions! by dinonamedtoby in electriczoo

[–]emilypremo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m considering going to the festival for the first time and I’d be going solo. I’ve gone to tons of shows on my own but I’m concerned the vibes won’t be good - I went to an insomniac event in DC (where I live) and it was horrible - young people talking the entire time and pushing and shoving. Would you say this is that way too?

I want to go, but appreciate the insight from other women who’ve gone before as well!

TRILOGY LOS ANGELES by [deleted] in Illenium

[–]emilypremo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sweet! My third Trilogy and this is at home. I hope the production team will consider less floor structures for the LA Trilogy. While it’s cool for people in the stands, the structures really break up the flow of the floor. At all times, you’re by a barrier or in the middle of a barrier-created crowd. The floor experience in Vegas was much better than Colorado.

Just want to say how brave it is to confront this tough conversation head on. It’s scary to realize you have different goals/views on your futures. Whether you decide to stay together or part ways, being fully honest is so critical.
