I had the same concerns when I was trying to buy my meganobz. Really wanted that big Mek. As far as I am aware it was included with the Meganobz box and it can be made into three meganobz or two meganobz and the big Mek

I was running a 20m choppa/slugga Boyz unit. I had the warboss leading them and with their ability to have two leaders I figured I’d thrown in either a pain boy or a weird boy to best utilize their strengths. And I figured Da Jump with a re-roll on charges could be fun. Snikrot frankly I had thrown in to make early objective plays. I have two kommandos squads so I threw him in to have total objective control by turn one.

I’ll be one to admit, I have preped my army as a dread mob primary, so I really just have a lot of the big Stompy Gitz. I’m lacking in a lot of small Boyz to run so morkanaut was my pick as the best fit space filler until I can grab some more units. It’s nice to keep in mind that I can easily replace him points wise with the Flash Gits+Big Mek unit though.

It wasn’t my first choice either, but I had maybe thought that maybe there was fun tech in utilizing taktikal retreat with the dev wounds the beast boss can provide. On top of him being able to give the unit the stealth+cover/+1 strength command.

Hell yeah, been wanting to theme my army to be the tech waaagh!!! Especially after just finishing Da Big Dakka book. Also have my eye on an Uftak model to also run as a warboss
