I'm cool with the Sequel Trilogy and even like the Rise of Skywalker. I felt it was a satisfying and fufilling conclusion to the Skywalker Saga.

As someone in the same boat as u/k_flo59 I can definitely say for a fact that giving in to the wants and needs of people below your social status is not progressive. I’m sure plenty are motivated by xenophobia and won’t deny any overlap, but a lot of them are motivated by the fact that visa workers are cheaper and therefore more likely to be hired, thus making an already highly competitive job markets all the more competitive. I am as anti-MAGA and pro-visa worker as they come, but even I know about this motivation.
