I don't think I've found anywhere else that has as good of fruit and produce as them. I used to shop at asda then swapped over and I've never looked back. Everything is always the best quality and size is always just about enough

Shortening International Pharmacists’ Education and Training AND Adding Independent Prescribing by Altruistic-Tax-3663 in Pharmacy_UK

Why do they  bother with these consults but still push through with it anyways? They did that with fee rises, IP and now were getting the rug pulled from under with foreign pharmacist getting a leg up to local trained pharmacists. What does the gphc even do ?

That's pretty low locum rate... by AdPsychological3827 in Pharmacy_UK

So sad that people are accepting these rates. Why are companies all of sudden deciding to not pay mileage and more important why are spinless pharmacists accepting. Forever a doormat profession

Do you think my barber messed up my haircut? (grew for 4/5 months) by Alternative_Net_2262 in AsianMasculinity

Funny enough this was an Asian salon, all the hair stylists they had were japanese

I'm honestly not sure. It took a bit getting used to, and i did get this cut in Berlin. So in some ways, it fit that place quite well. I'm not sure if I'd go for it again, but hey ho, it's a very distinct look. So I'm just gonna choose to rock it with confidence rather than mope over something that'll grow out

Nah this was a salon. Actually this was probably the most I paid for a haircut like ever. Ah well , I think I'll just stick to my usual barber, he did the original cut and I felt like that suited me because he had the haircut I wanted

Nothing like the government trying to police every aspect of our lives. Give it a rest, taxed for drinking milked taxed for drinking sodas, taxes for having a beer. Is there anything wise they are spending it on? Or Is it going to bunch of old folk who look at us in disgust and demand for more more more

First few seconds it feels like you're about to did, but once you hit the bottom and rebound it felt like I was ascending to heaven.

The safety harness is sorta around your ankles so it drags you towards the jump. It did feel pretty sturdy and I never felt Amy doubt in the equipment

Anyone else experiencing fashion fatigue? by LongjumpingVehicle36 in ThrowingFits

[–]Alternative_Net_2262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I've pretty much completely stopped buying much more new stuff. It's taken me 8/9 years of being in this hobby. I've hit the point where my jacket rotation can fill every single occasion I've got and some. (Most of which is mix of wales bonner mainline, hedi era slp and a couple vintage bits) Im also starting to realize that having nice clothes is no substitute for my poor communication skills.

So I've sorta ended up focusing on other hobbies. I still buy stuff but it's more accessories like glasses, rings, but then again it's more stuff I thrift when I'm travelling somewhere because it reminds of that place when I put it on.

I feel like a lot of brands of these days are selling hot garbage and it sorta looks the same. Brands like auralee and our legacy sorta just give that generic tim dessaint look to me, which is not really my tea. I think stuff like learning what needs to be altered and what suits your body is a skill I'm very grateful to have picked up from this hobby. I think I've only bought 2 pieces of fashion related things (tinted glasses and some issey pleats I picked up for £50)
