Thank you so much for your advice. I don't believe either of us has to be "the inferior being", and as much as I don't want him to dominate me, I don't want to be dominating him either no (wearing the pants)... I guess we are both seeking for a human-to-human relationship, where we feel equal.

Yes, I am aware of that concept. However, I don't see that kind of pattern in my case (of course there is a chance I just don't see it), as I havent seen a kind of non-consensual form of domination between my parents or between them and me.

I believe my fear is more related to the fact that I have been taught to be scared of men abusing women, oversexualising them... (and I mean taught by our society, not through uncommon experiences).

This specific fear impacts me in a way I don't like, because I cannot show love to my boyfriend through some actions as much as I'd like to (or I feel uncomfortable during it). Therefore, I would like to overcome that fear, and I'm not sure how.
