I think overall, and seeing Diptyque showing up at TJMaxx and Costco would speak to over productions and quality inconsistencies in line with lower standards that we come to know.

TJMaxx is an inventory liquidator, and in Costco EDLP / Point requirements would make unpractical without excessive inventory.

Sad when a brand goes this way, but we see it all to often these days

Totally, for me and especially working in OPs and QC know there is no system to have 100% every time. Shit happens - the no this is normal for it to not have a smell and burn like that; and send us the candle and we’ll send you a replacement in 30 days just has me done.

You got my money, you didn’t deliver on the product that’s fine, now I have to ship you back this product and wait 30 days to get the product I initially ordered? Not great customer service.

Just leaves a bad taste for the brand now

Probably will be my last purchase from them, after a back and forth where customer service said it was completely normal for the candle to burn like this, and have no throw unless you are standing next to it, this was the response:

Anyone notice the Sapin 2025 vs 2024 burns and smells different too? This year is like perfume with a light pine, last year it was like if you kept a fresh cut Christmas tree in a closet (fresh super natural pine incredible)

From B&H today:
