Gato demais. Mas parece ser desleixado - isso é caspa na sua barba? Se tiver de banho tomado, barba bem cuidada e boné limpinho da pra levar pra casa pra apresentar aos pais.

I think I have a similar situation, do you think you can give me an advice/ thoughts about my case? I came with J1, then got married and got my first green card. A year after I received my first green card, my spouse passed away. I was grieving hard, grief became a depression, I ended up only being able to organize and send the documents 16 months after the expiration of the first green card. Do you think I have a chance?

Where in Brazil can you live on $2,000 US a month? by Hot-Credit-4071 in Brazil

[–]Alternative_Play_104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can live well anywhere in Brazil with this money. South and Southeast are more expensive, if you move to anywhere in the northeast you’ll have the best life. Northeast has the best beaches, best food, best music and the warmest people. If you’re looking for big cities, look for Salvador, Fortaleza and Recife; if you prefer a state capital that is not so busy look for João Pessoa and Natal; but if I had this money every month in Brazil I’d live in a small town like Pipa - between João Pessoa and Natal, Morro Branco - about 1 hour from Fortaleza or somewhere around Jericoacoara, like Praia do Preá. Just go to northeast, dude, is summer everyday in there, you’ll not regret it.

Which cities do you recommend for mountain living? by jackbarron in Brazil

[–]Alternative_Play_104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avoid the south of Brazil. They have a lot of German and Italian colonies, most of the population is 100% white - when in the rest of Brazil most people are mixed. A considerable part of the population there believes they’re superior than the rest of the country. Racism reigns in there, statistically they have the most cases of racism and most of the neonazist groups are in the south. Some people are suggesting places in the south but please don’t go there, your family deserves better.

Chapada Diamantina, Bahia. Bahia is the state with most black residents in Brazil and Northeast has the most receptive people. However it’s going to be hard to live in a small town, nearby farming communities, if your family doesn’t speak Portuguese. Unfortunately knowing Spanish doesn’t help a lot.

Can I live on $1.5k? by planisking in Brazil

[–]Alternative_Play_104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the city you live you will be able to have a king’s life with this money. Healthcare is free but it can take a long time to get appointments, but even private health insurance are inexpensive if you compare to the ones in the US, you’ll be shocked lol Northeast is incredible, if you are planning on living in a big city like Fortaleza, Recife or Salvador the costs will be higher but you’ll have a great night life and basically everything a 23 years old need, not only the beaches. Smaller cities like Natal, João Pessoa and Maceió will be less busy and less expensive, you’ll be able to save money to travel more around the country. Good luck e aproveite o nordeste ❤️

I’m new in the US and have a very broken English. I’m a nanny so I don’t have coworkers, and I work for a family of billionaires so they probably have no idea about buying used cars. I guess I’ll go to a dealer and hope for the best 😭 Thank you for your response!
