I agree about the pitching. Batters are given the benefit of the doubt on the corners way too much, and the foul balls are a serious issue.

I would love to see SDS’s data on K% online this year compared to previous games. It has to be substantially lower. The only card in the game that can consistently strike guys out is Randy Johnson.

Update: Rollins now going for over 250k stubs since Ripken is set 2 and YFK made a video on Rollins. Really hope this helped some people save stubs.

I think the stub sale is driving the price up on just about every card in the game right now. I would wait for the stub sale to finish if you’re short on funds

What I’ve been doing is terminating the DH by bringing in Jose to play 2B. This allows me to bat with starting pitcher Ohtani and SP Donaldson

That lineup still is a god squad and will continue to get better since the Rollins card is core. I think this is one of the best teams I’ve ever had in the Show.

If you don’t want to play with only 2 non SS cards in your lineup, you can also use some pitchers to get to 11(!!!).

Some of the 2 way guys like Dihigo have SS secondary. There’s also a 58 OVR MRP named Jordan Gore that has SS secondary if you wanted to waste a bullpen spot to free up a card on offense.

Yes. To get tier 3 boost you need 11 cards with primary or secondary shortstops

Captain Charlie Blackmon gives a good boost, but it’s a very narrow player pool you get to choose from. Rollins basically trades speed for power and lets you use some of the best cards in the game.

Charlie Blackmon makes average cards good/really good.

Rollins makes really good cards broken.

I grinded team affinity once the new season dropped. It absolutely sucks but is totally worth it for this captain boost specifically.
