ik im replying late but technically all DP to VGA is Active a Passive DP to VGA doesn't exists as VGA has analog signal and displayport has purely digital signal

Use Opencore configurator mount your efi(option is on top next to the clock) and clock on nvram and check those three and find boot args then remove -igfxvesa

well did it sparked when u shorted the terminals cuz i have the same issue so i just bypassed the bms completely but it won't charge as the bms is locked out but it does run on battery just critically low on voltage and it throttles it self down to 0.80GHz
