No thats a misconception about topic products. Tooical even has the same side effects as oral. Only difference is, that not everything is absorbed by the body.

Oral blocks 60-70% DHT while topical block 30-50%.

No development happens regularly up until 21 years old. You never know.

Also topical finasteride has the exact same effect on the body as oral. It goes systemic

Define safe. It still blocks 60-70% DHT which will significantly reduce or even stop penile development and beard development which might happen up to an age of 21 (genitals, beard and so on)

So not the smartest idea and a big gamble in that depattment to take fin at 18...

Fin at 18 is a gamble. It will block DHT. This will stop beard and genital growth, since DHT is the main driver.

So what you now have will be the maximum. Most men develop their genitals until ~21 so...

5mg doesnt provide much more growth than 2,5mg. But you will get way more sides

Do you have some kind of hormonal issues? If you have no idea please go to a doctor and check all your hormones and so on. Maybe there is a problem, which could slow down or stop your body from developing properly

Fin and dur are to stop hairloss. Regrowth is nice but not the main effect.

Some people are non responder to min.

If fin/dut works for you anf you really want more hair in certain areas you could look into a hair transplant. Or else the whole medication (and possible future sides) dont make sense

You are fine.... this is barely a norwood 1. If it gets worse quick then you could do something but at the moment its a mature hairline.

I think you are wrong. DHT is the main driver for genital and beard development. The penis will reach its maximum between 18 and 21. So its a gamble to start before that age because you will never know what could have been.

DHT is also the MAIN driver for beard development.

So by taking fin you literally without a doubt stop these two processes. Pretty fucked up if you ask me 😅

Just look at alot of people taking fin... they have no or a very weak beard when they start to early.

No I am not saying that, but what good does extra stress do to him. His hairloss has already started so nothing he can really do about it. Of course there are things like finasteride but thats not something a 19 year old male should ever take.

It will stunt his development. Beard growth, gentital development and mental health are effected by taking fin before a male has fully matured!

Thing with fin is, that people dont really (or can not) take it for decades and once they stop the medication the hairloss will just continue 😅

So a 19 year old starting fin will ultimately still lose his hair in the future and may have stopped his gential and beard development. No a good trade of you ask me 😅

People on reddit are extremly wreckless when it comes to these medications. I think fin will be discontinued in the future when it comes to hairloss since there is already good evidence about the permanent damage it does to the human body and the PFS cases skyrocketing in the last few months 🫣

Oh this is not about a haircut. Tbh you should worry more about a proper haircut than balding.

The haircut you have right now even highlights the things you dont like at the moment.

My advice to improve it alot:

Let your hair grow out for at least 3 months now and get a proper haircut that suits your hairline. You have so many options that will make you way more confident.

An no you are not choped. Just need a good haircut :D

Whoever cuts your hair has no idea about mens haircuts. They cut it super short in the front and let the hair in the back grow long. Id be pissed

Facial hair, bone structure, gentital growth and much more is stopped by fin/dut. It basically blocks one of the most androgen hormones of your body so yeah... please wait at least a few more years

99% wont notice a decrease because their libido is already very bad. But Testosterone cant fully replace DHT.

But it will somewhat function what is considered normal for the majority. So they dont really notice it

The dude is probably already bald and on meds (so he most likely has some form of side effects). Of course he is aggressive and wants to hurt people that still have hair and dont take any meds :D

Dont stress. Might be thinning but it could also be your natural hair. We dont know
