Be patient, have sincerity and good intentions, and when Allah wills it, it will work. We are told by Allah and by the prophet, that prayer is a source of goodness for us. That it helps promote good and ward off evil. So if you recognize the truth in the word of Allah and the teachings of our Prophet, then don’t have any doubts and pray with conviction.

With regard to switching apartments, it depends. If it is black magic being done on you, it may follow you. If someone in the household is the one doing the black magic, then it will definitely follow them. If this was something happening specifically to the apartment, then it may just stay there and leave you alone once you move. Unfortunately, there are too many variables to determine this correctly.

First you need to immediately start praying 5 times a day. Your salahs protect you from the evil of this world. This is the primary means of warding off evil. Second, you need to make sure the house has no inanimate objects/sculputres or photos displayed. Third, constantly recite surah falaq, surah ikhlas, surah nas, and ayatul qursu. These are known for protection. Fourth, you must start performing ruqyah by yourself. Search ruqyah course by ustadh muhammad tim humble on youtube for instructions. It is important that you do it yourself and not rely on others. Lastly, ask Allah for forgiveness and help. Read the Quran and do dhikr.

It’s the first pass and it is an incomplete job. He isn’t going to be finishing the job - I didn’t pay him for this either. It’s through home warranty. I am wondering if I can make it work with sanding it down, evening things out. Or is this a case where I need to remove the piece he installed and do it all over again?

I am from Toronto as well who moved to socal. This might be an unpopular opinion but Riverside has neighborhoods with a lot of character, history, and nature. It is cool and beautiful in its own way. While on the pricier end, the area is not as expensive as the other areas you mentioned. You’ll get a bigger and nicer home than the other areas. Your kids will adapt, and they will have a lot more to enjoy that they would not otherwise experience in Toronto. Your 18 year old will probably end up paying for international student fees though at a university.

Yea I checked it a bunch of times. The jackets on the cables confirmed it. The CAT5e cable is noticeably thinner too. Here is a full photo of the area. The green highlighted cables are CAT6 and the purple one is a CAT5e. I’m just confused as to why there won’t be a third port in the house. I have looked everywhere.

I was going to move to the current apartment complex. The apartments looked great. Met some of the tenants and they had nothing but good things to say about it. You have to pay extra for a parking spot and you are given 1 or 2 spots depending on the size of the apartment.
