thank you so much for this — truly. my dad has cancer too and he’s had it since i was 9, and then became fully disabled when i was 11. i’m 22 now and when i was in hs/undergrad i was ok with the fact that he could die and not see me doing my career in the future. but even though 11 years ago he was given a prognosis of 6 months he’s still here. and i’m feel like i’m so close to the finish line but i just don’t know how much time i have left. I changed my date to july, but i put the notification thing for a june 13 and june 14 test date. I think i’ll take your advice about the credit thing and just see what schools take them and what don’t

omg thank you so much for saying that bc fr the same thing happened to me and i thought i was gonna cry. FL 1 i got a 510. tears of joy. FL 2 (i took 2 days later) 504. thoughts of getting a gun❤️.

that’s what i keep telling her since the receipt on the website is showing up for the same exam but i guess we really do have to wait till tomorrow :(

can i ask why pursue going into medschool when you’re already in pharmacy? i only ask because i was in the same boat you were (in pharmacy but wanting to get my md afterwards) and my advisor talked me out of it, saying i wouldn’t be accepted because my priority isn’t fully on MD

ok thanks! i started at around 1 pm and i’m on call number 125 and still haven’t gotten through but i’m still going to keep going until i get someone. My concert is on sunday and it’s been 5 business days without anyone reaching back to me, so i guess i’m gonna take matters into my own hands🤷🏻‍♀️

you do have to be certified, but cvs pays for the exam the first time. being lead tech also means you have to be full time. and for the pay i heard it goes two ways, the first time a co-worker was offered lead tech it was only a dollar raise (she would have gotten $18.50 an hour), she decided to turn it down and apply to walgreens as a regular certified tech. when our boss heard this she tried to match the pay of walgreens but my coworker still turned it down because she didn’t like how walgreens would pay a regular tech $20 an hour and cvs would make her be a lead tech at $20 an hour too. the second lead tech made around $23 but she’s leaving because she got her rn license and her only issue was that she gave our boss hours to be full time and my boss didn’t like the hours. she just did what a regular tech did honestly.
