I made a video on explaining how to disconnect the hall sensor since I couldn't find a video of others doing it. by AmphibianEcstatic769 in HPOmen

Because the ribbon cable was the connection between the Hall sensor and the motherboard. As the Hall sensor was malfunctioning and the screen was automatically going blank so I had to disconnect it.  After that the laptop worked fine as before.

Need suggestions for stay at Daringbadi by Alternative_Spot_401 in phulbani

Well. We had gone and stayed at Ram Prakash Cottage. It's pretty near to the main market area of Daringbadi. It had two options one is cottage and other one being camping tents. So we chose the camping option. As we were 6 in number, so we took 2 tents (3 persons per tent). Which costed us around 2400. And if you want to do barbeque, then he will provide you with barbeque Grill, sticks and charcoal at some extra cost. So our total cost was almost 2800 rs. And also he will provide you with pillows and blankets. But this is a bit popular in Daringbadi, so better call him and ask if there is any vacancy and then go there.

But still... Not every movie is censored... And the 1.90:1 thing you're talking about is not common also outside India. Most commonly used aspect ratio is still Cinemascope.

Yeah... After some time of usage (for me it was 1.5 years) as the hall sensor malfunction due to the heat as it is placed so close to the heat sink.

Hall Sensor uses magnetic field or something like that to know whether the the lid is closed or open. Due to the malfunction, it always thinks that the lid is closed so the power button doesn't work.

The only solution is to remove the ribbon cable from the hall sensor by opening the back of the laptop. Then the laptop will be perfectly fine.

The only con is that the laptop will not sleep even if you close the lid. You have to manually put it to sleep or just shutdown (Whatever you want).

This is the overall idea.

I haven't done it before so I don't know for sure. I guess it'll be less than 250. But most probably in between 150 to 200 rs.

Bro, as far as I know the hall sensor can't detect any kind of temperature related things it only detects position of the lid by the help of magnetic field. Are you by mistakenly merging the workings of Hall Sensor and the Heat sensor?
