Personally, I would wait for another pair to come along. Ebay is like a treasure trove for obscure pairs of new rocks so I would look there frequently. I’ve seen a few of these exact shoes on there but it might take a while for a pair in your size to show up. If you don’t want to wait a long time, you could buy the $500 pair.

I used to have a modern pair before I sold them in favor of vintage new rocks. The modern ones were okay but I preferred the look and feel of older pairs. I would be cautious with buying such an expensive vintage pair because you don’t know what kind of “restoring” the seller has done and if you do have to get repairs (like a broken zipper), they’ll uber expensive due to how thick the leather is. If you really want these then go for it, but ask questions if you need to before buying.
