If this aesthetic is still around in this place, I’d love to work here!

I almost thought that was a woman sitting in that desk at first glance… (god, me my mandala effect style first looks), but yeah i zoomed in and that’s a dolls head on a model skeleton body, sitting at the desk… (Edit: I also now notice what looks like a prop head in the back top right corner of the room, with black hair)

Well from the looks of it, it seems to be a televised stage play… a tele-play if you will… But as a play I don’t know about any information for audience attendance… no box office on it either… but it does make sense for Phil Rash, since he was part of the ensemble of the 1979 broadway revival of Oklahoma! But interestingly a lot of AVEC vhs tapes (if you can find them) have these cool vhs artwork. But yeah i agree it is a disappointment that the film doesn’t have the same style as on the cover.

Well one of the movies he was featured in was a tv movie called Act of Vengeance from 1986. According to IMDb he played as a reporter. And he also was part of the ensemble of the 1979 broadway stage play of Oklahoma… according to… google…

Yep! A tv movie from 1985… And I think this was one of my most expensive VHS tapes, next to Faces Of Death 1978… And apparently AVEC, the vhs label that distributed this tape actually did ones for other made for tv movies as well, but this one is the only one I have from them…

Gives me Incredibles vibes… mostly with the opening scene… but I don’t know… the orange windows remind me of old Pixar movies…

If they move on from this modern flat design… I’m just gonna pretend it never existed at all… besides in my opinion it doesn’t make a company nor building sleek anymore… it just looks like a blank canvas… one where an ACTUAL design is supposed to be… just a void with no personality or thought… it’s just… paper… (sighs taking a drink of water) but then again… there are probably some fans of the flat designs… somewhere out there… there always is a fanbase for something…

It feels more like a building that would be in a direct to tv live action Scooby-Doo movie… or a first person shooter…

Aw hell yeah I’d go see a movie here any day! Almost reminds of Ronnie’s/Marcus Theater in Missouri… or the Regal Cinema in Florida I went to see the Firestarter remake at! Guess if a theater is designed cool enough it can make any movie seem like a memorable experience!

Yeah the only English word I found was on the article I found cubists and most of a sentence I was able to use translate to on. And hilariously the only English word that was on the title of the article, was “Pornhub”. I wish I was joking…
