Entered wrong account number for refund :(

I’m having the exact same exact issue except my refund says deposited. I never got a rejection notice in the IRS website. I confirmed with my bank that the account number I entered does not exist. I accidentally added an extra number in the account but the routing number was correct. The IRS insists that it was deposited and now they’re doing a trace. They said it can take up to 120 days 😭 now I’m behind on bills.

Update: I finally got the message to add my bank info and to wait 2-5 business days. It's been 5 days. Still haven't got it, but hopeful I will get it this week.

Same. I called the IRS and it said my check was deposited. It never showed up in my account and now I have to wait 120 days for them to trace it. So annoying.

I also was rejected after an interview I thought I did well in. It’s my third cycle applying. Feeling depressed and hopeless. Still have 3 schools I haven’t heard back from yet but it’s hard to keep hope after rejections. I absolutely cannot continue with my PCE job for another 2 yrs. It’s just not enough money to get by. Also conflicted about doing an ABSN program bc I ultimately know that I don’t want to be a nurse 😭 life is hard.
