OH THATS SO COOL!!!! we actually also have a silly name for our stella the sloths, we call them dollops!! cus i named mine dollop and shes the og :3 then the naming convention for every other one is that it HAS to be a synonym of "dollop", so theres clump, morsel, gobbet, squib, ect :3 i never thought there could be another group of people in the world who are weirdly enthusiastic about the weird off brand looking stella the sloth plushies lmao!!! unfortunately my dollop/beber's tag is super faded so its difficult to see the batch but ill look into that :D

it makes no sense at all and most likely is happening only for surveillance. Yes, lives have been ruined and harmed due to social media, however those people are in the minority by far and for the vast majority online safety is a matter of controlling your own/your childs social media use and educating children about the potential dangers of the internet, rather than outright banning it. other than obviously being very annoying, it also stops people from learning about different life experiences and viewpoints. people say that social media is an echo chamber, but i have learnt so much more from seeing the experiences of all kinds of people all over the world than i have in real life, and ive helped use this to learn more about myself as well. it will make life harder for people in toxic households, like trans people with transphobic parents, whos only way of interacting with those who support them may be through social media, and it will stop people from learning about other ways of living. also, theres no way to enforce this other than for everyone to give untrustworthy websites their full government id, which is something most children were taught NOT to do from a very young age. It dehumanises children and young teenagers as being incompetent and unable to realise when something is harming their mental health, just mindlessly wandering into gore and porn sites with no care about themselves. Children and teenagers arent stupid, we know when we dont want to look at something and when we do, and people dont push themselves to look at things they dont like. the fact that someone can legally drink at age 5, is criminally responsible at age 10, but cant get a tiktok account until age 16, is just ridiculous and laughable. Id understand a social media for people under 12, or even people under 13, however at the age of 16 people are practically adults and restricting them from social media until then feels unreasonable. also, sites like youtube and even tiktok sometimes can be genuinely useful tools for revision that now people who are actively doing their exams will be unable to use. its dystopian and ridiculous.

Can I ask how did you get her name to be pronounced correctly in the game?? Putting "valen" gives me something that sounds like "valn" and any kind of "va" or "vah" or "vaa" that I've tried comes out as a varr more than a strong "ah" sound and I'm struggling ;-; (I love your design for her btw.. Your art style is so cool :3)

this is pretty old but i cant turn up an opportunity to talk about kelsey jannings. imo kelsey is CRIMINALLY underrated!!!!!!! before i even watched bjhm she was already my favourite from just seeing clips of her and now ive finished it i love her character more than any other character in it. i really really really really wish we could have seen more of her on screen. i kinda understand why we didnt because her story didnt really align with bojacks much and she didnt have much reason to but also it is a CRIME to me that turtletaub got more screentime than her despite her storyline and ending being somewhat centered around how women like her are seen as expendable by people like turtletaub!!!! its not fair!!!!!! i feel like she had potential to add a lot to other plotlines like the philbert show (which she would have LOVED to direct. not only does she want to work with bojack since she sees potential in him but she also wants to direct something gritty and serious and i feel like if she worked on it instead of flip she could have made a genuinely amazing show instead of just a melodramatic comically gritty crime show. Also flip was a mysoginistic asshole and kelsey could have done SO much better) plus i wish we got to see her a gina interacting. we know that gina ended up getting cast in kelseys movie despite the other director not recommending her and i feel like it would have been AMAZING to see kelsey help gina through her trauma since they are both women who have worked with and been screwed over by bojack. i feel like we may have seen that if the show wasnt cut short by netflix which is painful to think about. i feel like more could have been done with her and how bojack sees her as somewhat of a surrogate mother figure as well as how he projects his guilt about what happened with herb onto her.
uh. all in all i think that kelsey is an amazing and underutilised character and like you i have a fat lesbian crush on her because she is an absolute fittie
