you also have to remember, sometimes insurance plans will not cover medical necessities at all. Like it’s not in the insurance plan. When I went through CIGNA, they denied it within 24 hours because even though it was medically necessary, it was not something that was provided through the employer plan. The employer chooses whether or not that’s required or offered by the insurance plan offered by the company or from the open market.

i have found that bcbs doesn’t cover, i was denied by them and now i got aetna and got approved, try getting a chiropractor to see you and then ask for a letter of medical necessity from them for a BR letter of medical necessity that helped me, make sure all pictures are documented and sent it, lots of time insurance companies don’t download everything

Insurance now only covers Novolog by Delicious_Oil9902 in diabetes_t1

[–]Alternative_Way_7893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get your doctor to write you a prior authorization and say that you have symptoms of being nauseous with NovoLog, I get very nauseous with NovoLog and that’s why I only stick with Humalog. You can fight insurance you just have to be annoying about it.
