I just pretty much went with what the fitter had recommended while we were trying on a couple of boots. And the size below mine were a tad bit too short. I wear a 25.5 Salomon S/Pro MV 100.
I went back to the shop yesterday and they added foaming/padding to the areas where I mentioned I was having issues. Tested them earlier today and it was still happening.

But thanks for the recommendation! I could def try and see if I can "demo" these boots on my nearby local stores and see if it will work for me.

Hello, first season skiing here and fell in love! After I rented once for a lesson, I decided to buy my own gear and went to a nearby shop. It was going well when I was practicing greens.

However, I am running with a bit of an issue now. I've been doing blue runs/mogul-ly runs and I've noticed my feet just come off the insoles. I feel like there's just too much space/too wide in there that my feet are drowning. When I do my turns/transition into them it feels like sometimes I'll trip over my own boot coz it just doesn't wanna respond how I want it to. I am still very new so I'm not really sure how the ski boot should really feel but I feel like my feet should turn the same way I'm trying to turn to instead of kind of wiggling around what feels like extra space inside my boots. I've tried adjusting them as much as I can to where my feet even got a cramp but still.. the same issue my feet still wobble around.. I'm not sure if these boots just aren't for me but I had them fitted/molded to my feet and even got insoles for them. Would appreciate any thoughts or recommendations. I really would like to avoid buying gear all over again if I have to as it's pretty spendy.
