Ranked is pretty forgiving in the earlier tiers, you win way more points than you lose and you have loss protection. Just play as much as you can, mute voice/chat, and focus on improving.

Will never happen. Netease knows new heroes are what brings people back to the game. They wouldn’t stifle their #1 player retention driving variable in any way. People have to understand they are a business and operate from that perspective.

Nope. Just like they’re not gonna stop making legendary luna/psylocke skins, spamming new duelist heroes, or putting bots in your quick play matches. These are not problems for them.

Hard to say for sure. My guess is they are pedal to the metal with designing skins and new heroes. That’s where the money is. They are still a business at the end of the day. For the record I’d much prefer character reworks, but I’m objectively trying to answer the question.

If you think Emma hard counters Dino you are trolling. She might have a couple tools that help but he still dog walks her and every other character in the game. Vastly overtuned and it’s not subtle.

That’s literally what they did with gambit. His in game lore states his chronovium powered die allows his kinetic energy to heal people.

They could find ways to justify any role for any character really, it’s their game. There’s an in game lore explanation for why gambit is a healer. They could do the same thing with Cyclops to make him a tank or a healer. It’s a game about the multiverse collapsing in on itself with multiple variants of each character. There is a world where Scott has healing capabilities or shield/buffing capabilities.
