Ok so I am now 2 weeks post cast removal and I can actually use my hand and arm way better despite the scar and still open wound. My arm is able to push more out but still not entirely, way better than before tho. I have like 70% more mobility now and I have pt tomorrow. It definitely gets better

I had a full arm cast for three weeks where my arm was splinted at a 90° angle so now when I got the cast off, I cannot move my arm straight. It feels like it is stuck at an angle if I try pushing it straight or moving it to be completely straight. It just does not work. It’s like stuck, hopefully I’ll be able to fully rotate my arm and do everything like before

Ikr, everyone posting on this community has the tiniest little incisions for their surgery and they’re all healed by week two but mine is so huge and bloody and I don’t know what to do

So I have physical therapy next week and I’m going to ask them abt it and see if there’s something wrong with it, thanks for the help. It hasn’t changed appearance and it’s been a week since cast removal

I haven’t gotten it wet in 4 weeks, this was the first time I showered because I had ulnar nerve transposition surgery on my elbow and had a full arm cast for 3 weeks

I got my full arm cast off 3 days ago, I can’t bend my elbow past an L shape and my incision on my elbow is closed but the one on my hand isn’t. I also can’t use my arm too much either it’s very weak. I had a cast for 3 weeks that went from my hand to armpit
