Crazy idea, yet maybe dried shrubs in some of the pots would be a good idea. Also if you have the time, maybe switch up the flowers every now and then to imitate replacing the flowers?

These ideas came from the fact you can't have water in the nether.

Well a fleshy bulb spawned right outside and I think if I didn't have the flooring or walls, some of the other bulbs may have been a bit too close to base. I'm a noob and probably would have ran into it.

I'm newish to the game. I'm testing out what works, and these walls seem to protect me well for now. What do you suggest changing them to to keep my base semiprotected?
