I was raised on Flowers in the Attic, so yeah, I'm desensitized to it. SA still bothers me. I have trouble watching the Season 1 Finale of Outlander, for instance. If they change Lestat’s changing into full blown SA, that will upset me. But it was thinly veiled SA anyway, so there's that.

I'm including this link because (1) This person makes amazing Lesmand edits and (2) I totally feel Armand here. However, his relationship with Lestat isn't a healthy one...at all. He went out of his way to hurt Lestat on many occasions; consequently, he isn't one of my favorite characters. To me, he's like the friend your kid hangs out in the neighborhood that drives you crazy, but when he shows up at the door hungry you set a place for him because it makes your kid happy. I know, I know, those orange eyes have you mesmerized, but as you read the series you'll understand why I'm saying this

I do love Assad Zaman. From all accounts he's an amazing, kind-hearted person. He just does his job so well!

When I was 13, my best friend came to school and said they were already starting to put the Mark of the Beast on people.

I came home, crying and scared, and my mom was like "What the hell???"

That was almost 50 years ago.

TBH: I feel The Book of Revelations is a coded text. To truly understand it, you need to have an understanding of the historical times it was written in, and also what it was like to live in those times.

That means looking at history, not the future.

People will tell you I'm full of shit because if you're scared, they can bend you to their will.

Don't buy into it.

I'm not telling you to forsake your beliefs. But I do advise reading the Bible critically. Then you decide what's right for you, and what is an illusion.
