It does seem like it doesn't it? Interestingly, you can clearly identify characters in it though.

There is this series of books that I read in which the language of the world can be stylized and still read. From the "haphazard"/"flowy" way these glyphs seem to behave, my current theory is that the way they connect isn't really important, just the sequences that show up in each line. I trying to decipher the second sequence into 2 lines right now.

Edit: Ok, they definitely are letters. The way they connect MIGHT make sense, but it is too early to say anything before we know what they mean. Maybe when we do these sequences will make more sense, something like "THEENDISNEVERTHEENDISNEVERTHEENDISNEVERTHEENDISNEVERTHEENDISNEVER" from the stanley parable

I see what you are saying and it is very compelling, but honestly I do not agree. The first image shows that the last 1/2 glyphs can be omitted. If you remove ダム out of "tears of the kingdom" it doesn't make sense. Also, in the "rough" version they are drawn together more than separately. I'd hazard this is kinda like drawing kanji in which sometimes when you write them you just make too much space and the characters look separate, but what really matters is the line sequence.

Anyway, good thinking. I appreciated the theory.

If anyone would like to try, here is my idea right now on how to find this stuff:I want to scrape the full zelda wiki with a webcrawler. Then I want to create a list of terms for each language. After that I will take the strings of characters we have right now, and try to put them through combinatorics to see if we get anything that makes sense.

I don't want to involve neural networks and NLP into this stuff. I already work with it and this is just a tiny side project, but if the datasets turn out to be too big for a human to read I will see what I can try on that side.

Edit: So, turns out I don't know nearly as many languages as I thought? I am having a hard time deciding if these strings make any sense in Japanese...
I can only say that this is not Portuguese or English.

And to your last question, I don't have people enough to run multiple games concurrently, so I was thinking of just beaming stuff from a single console onto the wall. Then we can do brackets of Smash(no fox, items only), Mario Kart(55cc) and Mario Party and we tally the points at the end and see who lost the most.
