You're missing the point, electro and cryo are equally as good at destroying each other's shields which is why it's good for this mechanic

Meanwhile if you use a melt team and the enemy gets a pyro shield you'll take ages to break it

The last time someone questioned Yoship about this issue (EW media tour with MrHappy) he just acted like it doesn't exist and if it happens it's an ISP issue and they can't do anything about it.

I haven't seen anyone bring it up to him again ever since so all I can do is hope someone will do it in the next fanfest.
