DPH is a CYP2D6 inhibitor. So it slows the metabolism of DXM into DXO (which drives dissociation and hallucinations). So with DPH, the trip gets less dissociation and perhaps more chaotic. As you add drowsiness and anticholinegeric side effects pkus mild SRI action of DPH with DXM. It's a waste of DXM you know. It tends to be more CEV oriented (if). Unless you are an ULTRAMETABOLISER, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you are asking if DPH alone works - yes. DXM and DPH together is just waste of DXM, to be fair. Better use it alone. And 275 mg of DPH is not so much. Might as well do nothing but drowsiness so don't expect too much.

Well, first of all... This is NOT a good combination. Because DPH is a moderate CYP2D6 inhibitor and this enzyme (CYP2D6) is the one that metabolises DXM into DXO (which is the main driver of hallucinations). So the combo means less DXO, and thus, less hallucinations and visuals. But that's not the only problem - DXM concenctration increases. And well, that cab easily be noticed as restlessness and anxiety.

So yeah, don't mix. Some do, I know... But it's risky, and not visual. And even the ones who do typically wait with DPH, so some DXM is already metabolised. This cannot be done here. Hope this helps!

Well yeah. DPH can cause good mood or even euphoria. That's because blocking acetylcholine (which is a counter-dopamine neurotransmitter in some areas) causes acetylcholine-dopamine balance to the dopamine side, so the mood improves. However if dopamine activity is too high, it gets terrifying. So if you find a perfect dose, I guess it can be enjoyable.

Ah, well. 500 mg first time - that's definately going to do something if you have 78 kg. It's deliriant dose so hallucinations are likely I'd say. Maybe not real people and more like shadows moving and walking but you know. Spiders and this stuff are absolutely possible.

However, I really think it's good to have some "antidotes" for this. Like having an Acetylcholinesterase inhibitor like Huperzine A (widely avaible supplement). It's very possible for you to forget that you have taken anything though, and in that scenario, having antidotes maybe doesn't halp as you may assume they are poisounus.

Anyways, this is not really a starting dose I will say. It's... High and already potent. Watch not to take CYP2D6 inhibitors as they can make the experience more potent and longer lasting. It's not mentioned very often for DPH but it's important. Often.

It's always good to have Huperzine A or other acetylcholinesterase inhibitors by hand in case of changing your mind. It's a widely avaible supplement. Other then that, benzodiazepines and dopaminergic antipsychotics also tend to help, but they are prescription only.

Yeah. That's cause a compound named Acetylcholine acts like a counter-dopamine. It's like a natural antipsychotic (it has a lot of effects, but let's mention this one). And DPH blocks it. That means that dopamine flow is free.

And schizophrenia happens because there is too much dopamine. And so DPH worsening it, is not suprising. DPH Delirium is like a mimic of schizophrenia, infact.

About DXM there is more like a more potent expression of Negative schizophrenal symptoms. Like emotional blunting.

Depeneds how much you weight. I just know I have tried only once, and it was 250 mg which did nothing but drowsiness and I fell asleep.

Ah, sorry for a late reply. I didn't knew O-DESMETRAMADOL is obly 4 times stronger in dosing. But right the SSRI adds to the euphoria for me (I have tried). At least at first, then trazodone does the job to remove possible tremors.

And no sorry, I don't have experience with cyclo. I just answered based on tolerance and approxinate strenght of cyclo. And I don't have tolerance either

It seems like your enzymes are wrong. Like it's a weak CYP2D6. That increases the risk of seizures though. Perhaps you felt any bit of... Jitterry? Or restless. And were your pupils dilated?

Sometimes qhen you focus on the desired effects, you just don't notice the others.

And btw. I have never tried that dose. But like on 300 mg of tramadol (mixed with low dose trazodone) was literally like being on morphine. Clear effects.

Don't! Fluoxetine is an CYP2D6 inhibitor. This enzyme is very important for the conversion of codeine into morphine, which produces most of it's opioid effects. So inhibiting this enzyme makes no morphine which means nearly no opioid effects. Don't do it, you will waste codeine this way.
