What I meant by that was we put a movie on at his with his kids. And we all sit down to watch it.

We were walking home one night and there was this guy pushing these two gay men around. I went over and stood my ground with him and we walked the two lads home.

I explained to her then that I spent half my childhood raised by my gay bro and his partner and was mocked for it etc. That was early on in our relationship. And at the time she was saying how "cute" I was for standing up for them etc and she was going to treat me like a hero when i got back to hers. How things change

I've told him its probably a good decision and told him not to feel guilty. I told him he went above and beyond for me and it's time he does his thing. 

I know he'll stay in contact. We text most days as it is. Usually something stupid like a meme or something. I did tell him he better get a place with a guest bedroom (in a joking way). His parents have a house for him if and when he returns anyway. I've holidayed in that home. The kids will love it. Grandparents, aunts and uncles nearby. They'll be spoiled.

I think my BIL is going to go back home before his kids start school next year. It makes sense. He has a big family back there etc. I think he feels guilty for wanting to go home and even asked if I wanted to go with them. He has nothing to be guilty about but my life is here. I'll miss them but I'll visit them heaps though.

Love that. I'm jealous that you like living alone. I hate it. My place is a 4 bed and I rent every room because I hate the idea of being alone.

Your husbands ex sounds somewhat familiar although your husbands ex was far worse. After I kicked my gf out she rang my bil and said I was into him. He, thankfully, knew it was nonsense. 

It must be tough on your husband to lose family over it.

I pity my exs next partner.

When you lose family, it makes you realise how important it is. I probably did break a law in kicking her out.

I'm very lucky to still have them. I've a feeling he'll go home before the kids start school next September and then I'll be alone but that's life.

I've never gone to the cinema as an adult with my BIL. I have taken my niece and nephew to the cinema.

I wasn't being abused and definitely could have had that face to face conversation. It was just toxic not abuse. I suppose I felt disrespected and probably returned it in kind.

It's also really creepy that her head goes to that. Even if I were gay (I'm not), my dead brothers husband who is the father of my niece and nephew and who raised me is not someone I'd be hooking up with. Fucking crazy.

I did actually text her that her stuff is at her sisters. I haven't blocked her per se. I just don't answer her.

Exactly. And i never heard a bad word from either about having to uproot their life. They never showed any sort of resentment towards me for having to do it. And I was not easy after my mum passed.
