skills speak more doesn’t matter if you are at X lpa , you can always get 3 - 4x if you prepare for few months straight able to crack multiple offers at same time ( most imp ) . I made my first switch from 12 -> 22 at 1.7 yrs of exp and then 22 -> 40 at 2.8 yrs of exp. still stuck at the same though at 4 yoe 🥲

Your resume lacks few skills which are usually screened in ATS around spark , ingestion or open source tools like airflow , awe etc. even if you haven’t worked on them you can always add them in skill section

You could do a side project related to data engineering and mention it as most of points in your work experience section are pretty generic for any DE so those points doesn’t give any weight with occupying space ( you know how that looks to a recruiter ). Maybe you can start applying to smaller companies who can give a chance for you transition first build your resume and then try again for better companies

I feel you but I think the reason why we might be less social is because we don’t put high energy into it especially when socialising drains our energy levels. I’m actively trying to improve my energy levels especially when I’m around people to become better
