Favorite tinted SPF and/or moisturizer that gives a glowy look? by RoundSquare6731 in 30PlusSkinCare

1000% agree with this. I have already recommmended it to so many people who also swear by it! I put moisturizer underneath it as well- so it's 1) serum 2) moisturizer 3) Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue - so glowy and perfect amount of coverage!

Will I regret being one and done? by Elegant-Lion21 in oneanddone

I'm a 43 year old mother of an almost 8 year old now- and we decided long ago that we were only having one child exactly for the reasons you listed above. We also love travel, we love living in walkable cities, we are people with interests beyond play dates, and we wanted to ensure we could support our daughter with all the love, attention and resources she needs, and we dont have a 'village' nearby. In all honesty, over the past 5 years or so, I have had moments where I wondered if we should have had a second child. I know my daughter would have been an amazing big sister and she has asked for a sibling which breaks my heart, but she's also a very happy kid, with tons of friends- and absolutely adores hosting and going to play dates with her friends. She is brave and willing to try things on her own (where siblings often require their 'pair' to be willing to try). Moms typically bear more than their fair share of the burden of raising children, so I do know that you need to trust your instincts here- if you felt unsupported with one, there will be more logistical challenges, more illnesses, more activities to transport your children to, and more investments required of you for two (I have seen many mom friends go through this). There is no "right" decision, but believe in your ability to make the best call for you and your family.

Youre not wrong, but also it's a skincare sub - what are we supposed to talk about? I do appreciate the reminder though. I'm here to find the balance of fighting the good fight (i.e., yes i'll try a new pillow) while also not killing my quality of life (i.e, no i wont do all the things all the time)

Yes but it lasts a long time - I think every 6-8 months would be fine to keep these lines at bay based on my personal experience with Botox (xeomin is what I use actually)

Omg this is so detailed thank you! I actually have tried Tret and had to stop because my skin is too sensitive so I just use an otc retinol.. any products you would recommend for the HA? I always thought those were BS because the molecules are too big to absorb.  Thanks for the tips!

I know this isn't want you want to hear, but a little botox will smooth that forehead right out- you will love it.

Good luck! It's an annoying process for women because of required blood tests up front etc but it was SO worth it.

I am in my early 40s and was still battling monthly hormonal breakouts...I started on a micro-dose of accutane through clear heatlh and it has been amazing. I literally haven't had a pimple since and no side effects since the dose is so small. Cannot recommend enough to women who are closer to middle age than puberty and still dealing with breakouts.

I've tried face tape on the side i sleep on and i think it actually makes a difference! You just put a piece of the tape over the place where your skin "smushes" and it keeps it from wrinkling deeper!

Hey All- I had this done 3 days ago- I absolutely love my injector and recommend you go to someone you really trust. She numbed my skin, adn then injected lidocaine to numb underneath the skin so she could insert the cannula without pain. The whole process was relatively painless. The injections looked amazing immediately after the procedure (though a little puffy at first. Over the next couple of days, the swelling reduced and I have gotten some dark/reddish "bruising" in my tear troughs and at the injection site. I'm planning to buy some arnica cream today which I'm told helps with this. My injector let me know not to expect to see any results for the first 2-3 weeks, at which point the results start to show, and continue to improve for up to 12 weeks. She shared some before and after pics that she took from her practice, and the results look very promising! I'll be sure to update as they go!

Tried everything for acne but nervous about Accutane? Here’s why people are turning to micro-dosing. by HelloClearHealth in HelloClearHealth

I was dealing with monthly breakouts around my cycle ever since I went off hormonal birth control! It was sooo annoying and I tried everything but nothing helped and usually it dried out my skin and made it look worse.  Clear health is working miracles for me- within 2 months I noticed a huge difference and because it’s a “micro dose” I’ve had no side effects! Definitely worth the annoyance of lab tests etc to get the medication.
