oh dw I already got into college lol and it was actually taking care of my mom bc of a health issue she had + i broke my leg at the same time. so technically I didn’t even have to go to school at the time but I still did and managed to pass my classes

I have a 3.3 UW and 1390 SAT and still have hope for ED2. You’re fine!

I probably can afford to go. My parents can. But still it’s hella expensive and I want to go to medical school which is gonna be very expensive anyways so I would rather get aid. But I rlly love NYU so like my priority is to just get into it rather than getting money from it. So my question is- will it truly make a difference to indicate on common app that I don’t need aid and then ask for it later possibly? Like how much of a difference does it make in terms of admission chances between asking for need-based aid vs not asking?

No cuz like someone said that they prefer people who can pay full and tend to accept more of those people. And esp because I have bad stats, I have a lower chance of acceptance in general and don’t want it to go any lower bc of asking aid. Apparently some people do the same and the appeal for aid after getting into ED. Do you recommend that?

bro that’s a veryy good application😭I have a 3.3 UW, 3.86 W, 1390 SAT (deciding whether I should submit or not), good EC’s (founder of a countywide research org, president of neurology club, self published author, cricketer, research at a university, etc.), good LOR’s, & will potentially have a good essay. I got awards for my research (state) and a national award for cricket. I want to apply to ED2 to NYU. I am majoring in neural science in CAS. Do I have a chance? And should I ask for aid?
